Werewolves
Werewolves are creatures that turn from humans into wolves by hereditary, purposefully using Magick or by being cursed. The herb, Wolf's Bane or shooting the Werewolf with blessed silver bullets are deterrents for these creatures.
European cultures have hard-set stories of Werewolves, including Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, England, Ireland, Germany, Denmark/Sweden, France, Portugal, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Argentina and Italy. France in particular was infested with werewolves during the 16th century.
The Werewolf feeds upon the living or dead. The medical community also knows Werewolfism as Lycanthrope.
